Elizabeth Gillies is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She's best known for portraying Lucy as a character in"13" on the Nickelodeon comedy Victorious as well as Jade West as Lucy in "13". Her commercial career started in the year 2000. Her first TV appearance on The Black Donnellys (2007). She played Jade West from 2010-13 in the Nickelodeon show Victorious. Her most prominent role was on the comedy series on FX, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015). Elizabeth Egan Gillies' family resides in Haworth, New Jersey where Gillies was raised. She is the sister of an unborn brother in 1996. She is of Italian heritage. Elizabeth Gillies was educated at Haworth Public School near her home. I Am Sam, a 2001 drama film, was her debut part-time acting job. It was a film that featured the younger Dakota Fanning. In the film, she acted as an actor in the younger age group, such as Babel (2006) and the Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008 and Phoebe in Wonderland (8). For her performance in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere the actress was awarded a Critics Choice Movie Award nomination in 2010. The year after, she received recognition by her performance as the lead in the sci-fi thriller Super 8, which won the Spotlight Award in the Hollywood film festival. She played the titular role of the title character in We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
